always something new

Well, always something new developing around me. of course blogging has been around for a while... however it is definitely new for me to explore. This is my first experience with attempting a blog or anything like it online, so bear with me. The title comes from my son. years ago this was a screen name he chose and we had such fun with it within the family that It just seemed appropriate to continue it somewhere. My niece Courtney, once stated it sounded like a name for a band.
Christmas celebrations have come to a close... oh they were so much fun and great to be involved in, but i am glad it is all over now. Today we took down the outside christmas decorations, it may be another day before i tackle the inside stuff. Especially since i am using my spare time to "play" on the computer!

No big gifts for me or hubby for Christmas this year... had to work on a smaller budget, and focus on the kids this year. However, there is always valentines! Yeah!

I was lucky to have acquired a few gift certificates to A Scrappin Friendsy ... i am looking forward to using these as i LOVE anything R/2 scrapping.

I have been scrapping for about 2-3 years now. (collecting longer) I have found that it is a continuing learning process and so many techniques develop and/or change with scrapping. I have met some wonderful people thru scrapping and have found this to be the glue that keeps me there as well. Scrapbooking has been a stress release for me, therapy when I needed it, helped me during the sad times, gave me an opportunity to celebrate when I have needed to brag... and gosh just given me a "place" to be. Something to call my own!

I attribute my SIL for getting me excited enough a few years ago to begin this new journey in life...thanks Diana!
